Aside from helping young sports clubs across the board raise funds, we also write, produce, print and deliver biographies of current and past icons of the sporting world.
Our team of dedicated writers have years of experience and can help you bring your story to life in fine, glorious print.
Our current biographies that our team are working on are listed below. Our staff at Maranovo are also in negotiations to write, produce and print biographies and autobiographies of some well-known icons in the British football world.
Herbert Roberts
Herbert (Herbie) Roberts was a centre-half for Arsenal having signed for a then respectable figure of £200 from Oswestry Town.
Over an 11-year period, Roberts would make 335 starts for the London giants.
Written on the official Arsenal website, they write:
“Roberts was a key figure in Herbert Chapman’s all-conquering side of the early 1930s and picked up Division One honours in 1931, 1933, 1934 and 1935.
The defender missed the 1930 FA Cup final through injury but was not to be denied in 1936 when he helped the Gunners beat Sheffield United.
Roberts also earned an England cap during his long spell at the Club and would probably have had more without the injuries that blighted his career.
A badly-injured knee in October 1937 ended his playing career. He retired in 1938 and became trainer of Arsenal’s Southern League team.”
Our chief sports writer here at Maranovo, Neil Sambrook, has written the biography of Herbie Roberts, titled ‘Prince of Stoppers’ and will be released in the next couple of weeks.
Diego Maradona
A name that needs no introduction or explanation. Diego Armando Maradona’s unique story is captured beautifully by our in-house writing staff here at Maranovo.
From the early days of his childhood growing up in impoverished Fiorito, to his exploits on the pitch – and sadly off the pitch, too.
This stunning publication captures the rise and fall of arguably the greatest footballer of his – or any other – generation.

Pele
The first global superstar footballer – and some say the greatest footballer of all-time – is a story and must-read for all football fans, young and old. Our team of writers here at Maranovo are proud to have worked on such a major publication that follows the story of a poor boy who rose from obscurity to become the king of football. There can be no debate or argument as to the accomplishments of the iconic Brazilian legend; from winning a World Cup at the tender age of 17 to shaping the beautiful game forever.
